Christening Gowns
 |
Hand crocheted
christening dress, bonnet and booties trimmed with sea mist green ribbon
and hand-made flowers, modeled by Dakota. Satin slip, also trimmed
with ribbon and flowers. Even the satin covered baby hanger that the
outfit came on is trimmed with ribbon and flowers. Maker unknown,
but a senior citizen displaying her excellent workmanship at the Golden
Hobby Shop, an old school house converted to a senior center in German
Village, Columbus, OH. Yes, I paid more for this than most of my own
clothes. |

Hand made
white and pink christening dress, bonnet and slip trimmed with pink ribbon
and and tons of lace, modeled by Dakota. Maker unknown, but a senior
citizen displaying her excellent workmanship at the Golden Hobby Shop, an old
school house converted to a senior center in German Village, Columbus, OH.
I'm sure this and the next dress were made by the same person. And
again, yes, I paid a bunch for them, about a year apart. |

Hand made
crochet Christening gown with bonnet and cape, with cotton under dress,
modeled by DaKeisha. Bought on eBay from Gloria Yeardley, South
Yorkshire, UK. |

I found this
gown and bonnet at M-K Baby, a high-end baby boutique in Dublin, OH, modeled by
Honey. Lucky for me it was on sale--but I paid more for it than most
of my own clothes. |
